Podcast it to Bulis: talking PITB, Canucks, and more with Vancouver Sun sports editor Scott Brown

Do enjoy reading Pass it to Bulis? Do you think you’d enjoy PITB in podcast form? Now’s your chance!

This past week, PITB has been busy. Along with our regular content online, we got a full page feature in the print edition of the Vancouver Sun, the first in what should be a weekly feature. We also shot a quick video, called Random Number Generator, which may turn into a recurring feature. And now, we both appeared on the Vancouver Sun Sportscast.

We’re conquering the online, print, video, and podcast worlds. Although “conquering” may be a bit strong.

In this edition of the sportscast, Scott Brown asks us about the origins of the blog, the biggest surprises of the Canucks season so far, and some of the controversial content we’ve featured on the blog. We also weigh in on John Scott and suspensions.

Prefer to download and listen to podcasts in iTunes? You can do that!

Ye-ha…congrats! I got into your stuff before you were cool!

No seriously…I did. I had a broken leg and LOTS of time to spend on the internet. Insightful and whimsical , it’s always fun to read the latest or your ramblings on all things ‘Nucks. I’ve really felt hometown proud that you both somehow have seen to make something obviously done for enjoyment and passion turn into a viable source of income.

    Congrats gents!

Aw, I remember ye olde Blogspot site and was totally worried about the move. Admittedly, I’m still nostalgic for the former site and the humour and intelligence of the comments section, day in/day out. I have noticed an increased homer quotient since the move, but I think you guys have remained solid even if some of the extra-goofy stuff has been tempered.

Great podcast, and that Scott guy gets a tip-o-the-hat, too. He has a bit of the funny in him, I think. Smart too, for taking on PitB.

Nice Podcast. If Scott receives a longer suspension than Keith , a video and print analysis would be very interesting and is the sort of reporting that helps expose the double standard of the NHL with regards to the suspension policy for star players. Of course if you did this you will never work for the NHL….
PS Of course Kesler is ( was ) a diver and thumbs way up to Coach T for bring up the issue generally. That was quite skillful and perhaps the beginning of the Canucks ascent from the depths of referee purgatory.

a little less self aggrandizement and more substance such as discussing a suspended roster position when a player is suspended, the only really engaging bit in this podcast, would be appreciated; however, this being a first, some personal history is, i suppose, to be expected. cheers.

You should provide a direct download option. Otherwise you’re cutting off a large segment of listeners.

The option is there with the iTunes link. You should be able to download it directly off iTunes for free. Let me know if that’s not working and I’ll see what I can do.
