Introducing the Unreal Canucks GIF Tournament, a quest to determine which Canucks GIF is the greatest in existence. We’ve narrowed it down to 32 candidates, divided into four divisions then seeded, one through eight. Now we need your help. An important note: this isn’t just something to do while the players and the owners waste time bickering over who should get what’s left of the money they’re burning — it’s also a super-important initiative. After all, if we don’t do this, how else will we know? AND WE MUST KNOW.

Here’s what makes this gif excellent: the guy that taps Kesler on the shoulder as he enters the room. It’s as though Kesler has a “dance” button and that guy just switched it on.

I’m still in shock that this gif is here. I thought the Keslurking gif that ‘pommel horse’ knocked off in Round 2 was a lock. But it was not meant to be, as Kesler’s awkward gymnastics routine over Pekka Rinne charmed more than 50% of voters and now has it poised for a Kesler Division victory. Did I miss something? Actually, yes. Only just now did I notice that, after Pekka Rinne takes a knee to the head, he incorrectly looks right instead of up, because who expects there to be a guy on top of the net?
