Introducing the Unreal Canucks GIF Tournament, a quest to determine which Canucks GIF is the greatest in existence. We’ve narrowed it down to 32 candidates, divided into four divisions then seeded, one through eight. Now we need your help. An important note: this isn’t just something to do while the players and the owners waste time bickering over who should get what’s left of the money they’re burning — it’s also a super-important initiative. Luongo does some quality Beyonce walkin’, although he could probably be a little more bootylicious, if you ask me, but the real star of this clip is the little girl at the end. Everybody else is just sort of dancing. That little girl is DANCING. Look at those hand movements. This young lady has some serious swag. If this gif makes it out of the Luongo division, that little girl deserves an assist.

Can Luongo’s soap opera-esque hair flip pull off the upset here? It’s possible. After all, it’s an enchanting, almost mesmerizing moment. It’s entirely possible that folks will be so aswoon at the sight of it, they’ll vote it through without realizing it has an opponent. And speaking of losing sight of things, I just now noticed the wave of hair that whips around down by Luongo’s neck. That makes this ridiculous gif even better.
