Jannik Hansen just got Keslurked

It’s official: Ryan Kesler has an addiction. Only two days after going on a Keslurking spree at the 12th annual Sports Celebrities Festival – a spree that, for many, might satisfy the urge to bomb for quite awhile — Kesler was right back at it, Keslurking Jannik Hansen’s postgame interview with Joey Kenward.

Seriously, the dude is averaging, like, three of these a week.

Many thought Kesler would strike during David Booth’s After Hours interview, especially after Kesler surprised Alex Burrows and Scott Oake last week. Instead, only Alain Vigneault came close to an interview bomb, and Kesler went for a much less expected target, perpetrating his Keslurk during Hansen’s online-only postgamer with Joey Kenward for Canucks TV. Diabolical.

As you can see, the Keslurk begins at the 5:50 mark of the video above. Just as Kenward and Hansen begin their interview, Kesler slides in behind the two men and begins to “work out” as conspicuously as possible. Kesler makes a point of staring directly into the camera. Then, not entirely satisfied, he even switches arms so that he can flex his right bicep and even give a classic “Muscle Beach is that way” gesture.

It’s pretty much perfect.

Here are some animated gifs of the Keslurk, courtesy ohyeahcanucksyeah.

And here’s a screenshot featuring PITB’s official “Keslurked” stamp, just so you know it’s a confirmed Keslurk.

s/t to @dee403 for the tip on the video.

A Keslurk, on top of Hansen’s already comical voice?
My dad and I laughed for about five minutes

It’s true. Hansen’s squeaky voice scoring the whole affair doubles the comedy.

Haha, oh man. I can’t believe Ryan has been doing this since March. That’s pretty committed. And it has to be one of the longest running jokes I’ve ever seen.

It’s nice to see him so loose these days. I was so used to him in past years being anti-social and reserved in public, but it seems like he’s found a confidence and comfort level in the past year.

Nah, Kesler just walked past. That wasn’t a Keslurk.

    Boy, he sure is dedicated.

I’m caught off-guard by his new ‘do. I miss the Astro-boy inspired mop of hair.

Kesler actually did appear in the booth interview, though he merely walked by and probably was only in frame for about a second. It was near the beginning, and I rewound when I saw it to make sure, but he was there. Mark my words, he was there.
