Sometimes, all it takes is a generous link from a blog with more traffic to remind us of how little power we actually have over here at PITB. Consider the Twitter Needs Juice post we made about a month and a half back: sure, some people read it, but not nearly as many people read it yesterday, after Derek Jory linked to it in his Juiceisms post over at Fort Nucks, the Canucks’ official blog. We humbly acknowledge your superior readership, sir.

(It’s probably because Fort Nucks’ official hockey team, the Vancouver Canucks, is a little more popular than ours, The Vancouver Wellwoods. But let’s not sell the Wellwoods short. They’ve had a goalie captain for quite some time, and no one’s ever suggested Morgan wasn’t the right fit, which is more than I can say for Luongo.)

Anyway, the best thing about the unexpected bump is that people have started sending in images of support for our asinine and already spurned campaign, like I initially requested. Images such as the t-shirt design above, courtesy of @calvin_kai_ng, which is pretty great, and the image below, which is also pretty great.

Okay, that guy didn’t even examine the patient. He’s either in league with the juice lobby or a terrible doctor.

This image is courtesy of Tannis J., who suggests that Twitter’s need for Juice is actually a concerning deficiency of Vitamin C. Twitter needs Juice as part of a balanced breakfast; rumour has it Twitter’s also not getting enough riboflavin.

In closing, if you’re cool, you’ll add your name to the Twitition to get Kevin Bieksa on Twitter. Jason Botchford signed it, so it’s clearly the hip thing to do.

“He’s either in league with the juice lobby or a terrible doctor.”

So you think you’re better than Dr Mark Recchi now?
