There are two things we know for sure about Kevin Bieksa. First, he’s good with reporters. Second, he’s good with his feet. This Canucks.com clip is evidence of both.

Just after 1:40 of the video, the TSN interviewer fumbles his microphone and it drops to the ground. It’s an unfortunate moment: considering the crowd gathered around Bieksa, you have to think there’s no way that guy is gonna get in there to retrieve it. Thankfully, Kevin Bieksa is a helpful chap, and he kindly kicks it to him, mid-sentence.

Good guys, these Canucks.

All I’m seeing a team whose egregious diving has gotten so out of hand that it’s affecting any inanimate objects that come within a 5 mile radius of them. BURN THEM.

Love it. Clearly under the influence of Kevin Bieksa, the microphone took a dive. Ha!

I can just hear the media scrambling for the new headlines now: The diving contagion spreading throughout YOUR treasured league (and how the Canucks are behind it all!)

        …next on Sick Sad World.

I always thought there was a battle for space in front of an interviewed player much like the battle for space in front of a goalie. The TSN mic went to push the 1130 mic out, but the TSN mic was a little more Mason Raymond than Zdeno Chara and got knocked back. It’s possible that it embellished the fall in order to draw a penalty though.

You know when you’re waiting for puck drop when you post something like this. Then you realize you are more desperate when you watch the entire video repeatedly.

What happened to the big bad bruin fans? Only thing I’ve been hearing is whining and complaining. Why are they acting like they just got their lunch money taken from them? Sore losers, and they know it!

when i heard the wives, kids, relatives, etc., all made the trip the game 6 result spoke volumes, you never head out with the entourage to win a game- the thoughts were with the whining family members or dealing with the family members- it’s a ridiculous situation to throw a player in- it’s similar to your job, are you going to have everyone tag along to work with you, deal with them all that morning before work and make sure everyone is on time?…it’s all too distacting and if the canucks lose this cup they can blame this lame, neophyte move
