April 18, 2011@HawksChumps2010 Really? The hit was completely legal, and he got up and went after Torres. Then, like a dumb oaf, he decided to keep playing and continued to get knocked again. Its not like he was taken off the ice in a stretcher. What do you expect? Should we post a link to Sarah McLaughlan’s “I Will Remember You” and have a memorial service for him? Maybe for his career? The guy’s an idiot. He’s been hit in the head a few times the past couple weeks and is too ignorant to take a good clear look at the impact these hits have had. Nor has he learned to keep his head up in the area known as the “hit zone”, as a D-Man. If he keeps it up, he’ll have no career but, it’ll be to no fault of Vancouver, nor the person -who had no involvement with the hit- who posted these pictures. We’re rival teams, and we’re having fun. I understand that it might hurt your heart a little but, grow up… at the very least, grab a box of Kleenex and go join Toews and Kane in a group hug.

April 18, 2011A very apt analogy. But a driver should still make the effort to not kill the pedestrian, even if it isn’t the drivers own fault and many drivers are sent to prison and ticketed on what is in large degree a pedestrians poor judgement.
ie: “cheap shots” were never illegal, they are still nasty that provide short term advantage (and vulgar entertainment) at the now considerable long term toxic consequences.
I used to think otherwise until I found myself on the victim end of the Moore – Naslund hit.
Nonetheless, as a PITB admirer, still found the post amusing.

as one commentator said, “Have some respect for your career.” He takes a hard hit that may or may not have been dirty and then goes back on the ice. Respect your career man. This is your livelihood.
